The Sierra del Lacandon has an array of photogenic archaeological and natural sites. The stunning Usumacinta River, ancient cities such as Piedras Negras, ice-blue lakes, and wildlife such as the macaw and jaguar all offer possibilities for once-in-a-lifetime photos. We provide some images here from our research and travel in the region. Please note that all images are the property of the photographer. Please contact us for any permissions for publication.
